my fav. xmas present

(apologies for the half pic)

i love my olive oil set from dr. alonzo.
i got this from a raffle @ the xmas party @ work. lady luck was on my side, i got the biggest price.
can't wait to use it. now where can i find some quality but moderately priced balsamic vinagrette?
(next i want a cheese board)

-memories not materials-

that's my new year's reso or motto this coming year.
i want to make them not buy them.
but let's keep on mind that some memories require some cash.

beyong wishful thinking

knowing that its impossible that i get these things for xmas or ever, id still like to share some of the things i dream of. lol. surprisingly almost all are electronics.

i dont have this print yet and i like how it looked when i tried it on. not old womanish at all.

western digital external hard drive. im out of memory, i need a place for thousands of my pics.

canon rebel xsi. i really want and slr/eos camera but i just cant get myself to splurge on this.

brother sewing machine. i pay so much for alterations, id like to learn how to do some basic things.

macbook pro. my mac needs to be replaced, asap.

ysl muse. you have to see it in person, its gorgeous.

some other things i want are:
-burberry scarf large nova check
-chanel flap bag in black
-an ostrich purse. even more imposibble considering the price of a real ostrich purse and whatever high brand it is.
(i'll take ostrich-embossed, i dont mind)

in a perfect xmas, these would all be under the tree with my name on it.

impressed

i love gossip girl. and last night was one of the best episodes! i loved the story! i cant stop raving about it.
a breakout performance i thought was by ed westwick aka chuck bass. his performance was awesome, he kind of has that dark side, he really has potential, i was very impressed. the entire episode was exciting but i was in awe with mr. chuck. can't wait for more...

oh how i'd love to be in a chace-ed sandwhich!!!!

i want!!! now!

everything but scotch tape

1. i feel so festive this year. i finished my xmas shopping last week. thank god. i was super excited this year to be able to afford decent gifts so i finished super early. im itching to wrap my gifts but we have no TAPE!

2. its my night off tonight and i really want to do something but also relax @ the same time, i work again tomorrow night so one night is definitely not enough to recuperate after a week's worth of work. i like productivity but sometimes i like sleeping in better. a lot better.

3. paquiao won. he's freaken awesome. he's really making filipino's proud. his generosity is such a blessing to people in need and that's why he deserves the success, victory and the $$$.
(nevertheless, de la hoya is still a hottie)

4. all this watching of filipino soaps and shows is making me miss the philippines. i know i just started my career but all this repetitive, tedious work has got me thinking how much i want to retire early and live it up in the philippines. hope charley's up for it. lol. seriously, america aint got nuthin on p.i. + i miss my dad and family. life just seem sooo uneventful lately.

5. i love xmas because it reminds me of my mom. she loved xmas, every morning she used to put on xmas carols on her old school record player. she use to get us sucky gifts sometimes. it was funny. it was her favorite holiday so every time xmas rolls around im reminded of her and it reminds me that this is going to be the 5th xmas without her. i love xmas but i hate xmas.

new year's resolution numero uno

be more of a homemaker.
-cook more
-learn how to sew (a sewing machine is no. 1 on my xmas wishlist)
-throw dinner parties instead of asking everyone to eat out
-and most definitely clean more!!!

i want to be just like semi-homemade cooking with sandra lee because there's no way im going to make everything from scratch + her table settings are beautiful.

ebay

i must confess, i have had ebay for a while now but have never actually had the guts to bid & spend so much, i always backed down. many of you know that for many years, i have been searching for some navy leather vintage boots ( i love vintage) and have been outbid on ebay. (theres no other place to get them other than vintage stores) so last month, i finally had the courage and the money to bid on it on ebay. navy leather boots are such a rare find. so im very happy that my search is over. i also found some really awesome vintage black woven boots that are super nice, i got them in the mail last week. if all goes well with the transactions, ebay just found themselves another power buyer.

:)
